Storyline

The original story by Toshio Yasumi was cinematized and directed by Yuzo Kawashima of "Bakumatsu taiyoden (Sun in the Last Days of the Shogunate)". The film tells the story of Kyusaku, who runs a tonkatsu diner in Ueno. Previously trained by head chef, Denji, at the French restaurant, "Seiryu-ken" he had married the head chef's younger sister, Kakie. Denji had cut all ties with Kyusaku and Kakie for turning their backs on French cuisine, but...
